The Starving Attic

Emily thought she inherited her grandmother's cozy house filled with warm memories until that stormy

night when creaking footsteps echoed from the attic above. Curiosity dragged her upstairs where

dusty boxes and an old mirror waited in the darkness. Then came the whispers calling her name,

begging her to stay, growing louder with each trembling step. When her flashlight revealed a faded

photo of her grandmother who looked exactly like Emily but with hollow eyes, she realized the
