The Theft of Christmas

There was a year when Christmas nearly died. Not a fable. Not a tale to scare

the young. It began with a blizzard, a lie, and a smile full

of teeth. Santa left the Pole, tricked by a devil in fur — Krampus. And in his absence,

the snow turned steel, the bells rang wrong, and the toys... turned cold.

The elves were locked away beneath the ice. And the Jingle Bots — well,

they started smiling their way into the city. Some say it was always coming.

Others say we were blind. But what we all remember... is the sound of

chains. And coal. This is how Christmas was stolen.
