The Titanic's Surviving Baker

In 1912, when the Titanic sank, there was a man named Charles Joughin

— the ship’s baker. When the ship hit the iceberg, instead of panicking… he started drinking

whiskey 🍾 — a lot of it. As the ship went down, he stayed calm,

helped people onto lifeboats, and then fell into the freezing water himself ❄️.

But here’s the crazy part — he survived. The alcohol in his blood actually kept him warm enough

to stay alive for over two hours in water that killed most people in minutes. When rescuers found

him, he was still conscious — kicking around and smiling! 😳

So yeah… the man who drank through the Titanic sinking — and lived. 🍻
