The Town of Stopped Clocks

Every clock in Ashford, Nebraska stopped at exactly 3:12 AM on October 9th, 1993,

and they've never moved since. The town of 400 people woke up that morning to find

their streets covered in thick fog that tasted like copper. Cars won't start past Main Street.

Cell phones die at the town limits. Visitors who stay past midnight report hearing children

singing from empty playgrounds. One traveler filmed the church bell ringing at 3:12

AM, but when he checked the footage, the bell was frozen solid,

covered in ice even though it was July. The strangest part? Every photo taken in Ashford shows

shadows of people who aren't there. Long figures standing in doorways, watching from windows.
