The descent was suffocating, my shoulders scraping both walls. I went past Level

3, Level 4, into places not on any map. Then I turned to

check my exit. The staircase was gone. Just smooth concrete, as if I'd walked

through solid stone. Panic set in. The corridor split into three passages, each tilting at

wrong angles. I chose left and immediately knew something was wrong. The walls were breathing.

Expanding and contracting like lungs. Covered in scratched messages: "It watches." "Don't sleep."
