Your face mask, baby diapers, and even your tea bags are all made from the same type
of secret fabric. It’s called non-woven, and it’s not actually woven like your clothes.
The fibers are just tangled and pressed together using heat, pressure, or even glue.
This stuff is literally everywhere. It’s used for soundproofing in cars, in medical gowns,
and those handy cleaning wipes you use at home. Because the fibers are all jumbled
up, the edges don’t fray when you cut them. Many are also biodegradable.
So you’re basically surrounded by this super versatile, high-tech material every day.
