I failed my first nursing practice exam by twelve points and honestly thought

I picked the wrong career. But here's what nobody tells you about nursing school.

The questions aren't testing if you memorized facts. They're testing if you think like

a nurse. When I finally understood this, everything changed. Look at any

multiple choice question and you'll notice two answers are obviously wrong, but two seem

right. The trick is knowing your scope of practice. As a CNA,

you're focused on basic care and reporting changes. LPNs can administer certain medications under

supervision. RNs assess and create care plans. NPs diagnose and prescribe.
