This Moment in Time

Heard a story long ago, a preacher in the rain. Said,

"God's got me," while the waters came. A boat pulled up,

then a chopper in the sky. He said, "God will save me," and he

never asked why. When he got to Heaven, he cried, "Lord,

where were You?" God said, "I send help every time, but

you never moved." I've carried that story all through my

days. Thinking I knew how life should play. But here I

stand, still learning to see. That faith's not waiting,
