Three Flickers Under the Streetlight

The streetlight outside my window flickered three times last night. Everyone knows the

rule. Two flickers means stay inside and don't look. But three?

Nobody talks about three. My curiosity got the best of me. I peeked through

the blinds. The street was empty except for one figure standing directly under the light.

Staring up at my window. At me. Then I realized something worse.

The figure was wearing my clothes. My exact outfit from earlier today. It smiled with my

face. This morning I woke up outside under that streetlight. And someone else

is living in my house now.
