We often ask why our politics is toxic. Why hatred dominates the podium.

Why insults travel faster than ideas. Why elections feel like emotional warfare rather than debates

about policy. But the answer is not complicated. Look at who we have normalised as leaders.

Many of the loudest voices on political podiums today are individuals with deeply questionable

integrity, some with histories linked to corruption, violence, attempted murder,

or serious criminal allegations. Instead of accountability disqualifying them, notoriety has become

a qualification. This is where toxicity begins. The Podium Has Become a Stage for Character
