Trapped in an Endless Loop

This robot is trapped in a nightmare. And without realizing it… you might be living

the same life. This is an art piece called “Can’t Help Myself.” Its only job is

to collect hydraulic fluid spilling onto the floor. If it doesn’t, it dies.

But here’s the problem. Every time the robot cleans one area, the fluid spreads somewhere else.

Creating an endless loop of work that can never be finished. When it first launched

in 2016, the robot looked energetic—almost playful. It moved with purpose.

It even danced when it had extra energy. But over time, everything changed. As the robot realized

there was no end, its movements slowed. It looked exhausted. Hopeless. Just like us.
