his feet inches above the floor. His face is pale, mouth hanging open like he’s silently

screaming. Dark handprints cover his neck, like something dragged him down.

Behind him, ghostly shapes crawl along the ceiling twisted, shadowy souls with

hollow eyes, their jaws stretching unnaturally wide as they follow him. The boy stops. bones

cracking in his neck as his head twists too far. His eyes glow like burning coals.
