The database? You need to stop monitoring the infrastructure and start monitoring the application.

This is APM, or Application Performance Monitoring. APM tools go inside your code.

They tell you exactly how long each part of a request takes. For example: "The page loaded in 3

seconds. 0.1 seconds was the network. 0.5 seconds was the web server.

And 2.4 seconds was this one slow database query." APM pinpoints the exact line of code
