Geometric Series in Calculus is a way to determine if a series converges or diverges.
If a series converges you can also find the sum of convergence. In order to detemine if a geometric series
converges, we have to find the ratio of the series. To find this we
can take the second term and divide it by the first term. An example would
be 1 divided by 2 would give a ratio of 1/2. The formula for geometric series
that are infinite is a divided by 1 - r, a being the first term in the series
and r being the ratio. The formula for a geometric series that is finite would
be taking the first term minus the second term and multiply it by r then divide all of that by 1
