SECTION 1 – The Nature of Divine Order Let’s begin by defining what divine order

actually means. Divine order is the predetermined arrangement through which God administers

His will in creation, redemption, and governance. It’s not a man-made hierarchy—it’s heaven’s

architecture revealed to us. In 1 Corinthians 14:40, Paul says,

“Let all things be done decently and in order.” The Greek word used here is taxis,

which means “a set arrangement, an appointed positioning.” When Paul gave that instruction,

he wasn’t offering friendly advice—he was giving apostolic correction. The Corinthian church
