Your math teacher lied to you, at least when it comes to Java. If you divide ten
by four in code, the answer is two, not two point five. It’s called integer division,
and the computer literally just deletes the decimal unless you specifically ask for a floating
point. Then there’s the percent sign. It’s not for percentages; it’s the modulus
operator that gives you the remainder of a division. And be careful with the double plus
sign, because putting it before or after a variable changes the entire logic.
Master these operators, or your app will crash because you forgot a decimal point.
