Unplanned Moments of Freedom

Last summer changed everything when my best friend and I finally made it to that hidden beach

we'd been dreaming about for years. The moment our toes hit that turquoise water at sunset,

we just lost it. We were splashing around like kids, completely forgetting we were supposed

to be adults with responsibilities. The sky turned this insane mix of orange and purple,

and I remember thinking this is what freedom actually feels like. We held hands on the shore,

both of us quiet for once, just taking it all in. That's when I realized

the best memories aren't the ones you plan, they're the ones that catch you off

guard and remind you what living is really about.
