Unwanted Obsession

Being the main character in someone else’s fantasy is actually terrifying. This guy Matthieu

meets Nora once and instantly decides she’s his soulmate, completely ignoring who she actually

is. He projects this perfect version onto her, and when Nora tries

to set boundaries, he flips out. He sends her paragraphs of text psychoanalyzing her,

claiming she’s just afraid of intimacy, and then demands a refund for the drinks he bought

her. She blocks him, but the vibe is off. While Nora is double-locking

her door because she feels watched, Matthieu is actually sitting in her stairwell right now,

listening to her breathe, waiting to knock.
