Victory Over Darkness

On the day Jesus stood before Lucifer on his throne, after giving his life on the cross,

he was not resting. He descended into the abyss to the darkest and deepest place.

There, among the shadows, all creation bowed before his presence. The silenced voices

faded and ancient beings trembled, for they knew the one greater than all had arrived.

Before the throne of darkness, Lucifer sneered at him. He thought he had

won. He believed the Son of God was now under his power. But he did not understand.

Jesus had not come as a prisoner, but as a king, clothed in heavenly authority.

Then Jesus lifted his eyes and thundered with a voice that shook all creation, "I am the alpha
