A VPN creates a secure, encrypted connection between your device and a remote server.
It protects your data on public Wi-Fi and lets you access restricted content. By routing your
traffic through a secure server, a VPN hides your real IP address, making it look like
you’re browsing from another location and keeping hackers away. DNS is like the
internet’s phone book. When you type a website name like google.com,
DNS converts it into an IP address, such as 172.217.10.46. Without DNS, you’d have to remember
long numbers for every website. DHCP automatically assigns IP addresses to devices on a
network. When a new device connects, DHCP gives it an address from a predefined
