Walking Toward the Melody

I walked into the forest with nothing but my guitar and a question I couldn't answer.

The cold bit through my jacket, but I needed the silence. Something about

being alone out here makes the noise in your head finally stop. I sat on that old

bench by the cabin, the one no one uses anymore, and just breathed. The steam from my

coffee disappeared into the air like every word I never said. Then I played.

One chord, then another, until something broke open inside me.
