When the Forest Fought Back

A white snake slithered toward a nest where baby birds huddled in the rain, their parents desperately

trying to protect them. The snake struck fast, swallowing one of

the crows before retreating to its burrow with its own young. I watched as the

remaining crows fought through the storm, but they couldn't stop the snake from

snatching a helpless chick. Then something unexpected happened. The crows flew off

and returned with otters, and suddenly the forest came alive. Animals I'd never

seen work together surrounded that snake. Out of nowhere, a family of mongooses

appeared and took down the predator in seconds. Nature's justice was swift and brutal.
