Your eyes are basically just glitchy biological cameras made of jelly. It is actually impossible
for a single lens to focus light perfectly because of physics. Light hits a curved surface and naturally
splits into different colors or blurs at the edges, which engineers call aberration.
Your eye tries to handle this with a flexible lens and a sensor called the retina,
but it messes up constantly. If your eyeball is slightly too long,
you are nearsighted. If it is too short, you are farsighted. We literally have to put extra pieces
of glass in front of our faces just to trick light into hitting the right spot.
Perfect vision is technically just an engineering hack.
