Why We Bought Our 8-Year-Old a PC

Reasons we bought our son a gaming PC when he was only 8 years old: First,

he learned responsibility right away—how to take care of something valuable. Second,

school. Keeping up with assignments has been incredibly easy for him.

Typing is an essential skill, and he’s a very fast typist. I spent three years

in school learning how to type, and for him it just comes naturally. Third,

over the years he’s learned so much about computers, which is an amazing and useful skill

to have. Fourth—and this one’s my personal favorite—he’s a PC gamer.

I’ve never been able to game on PC myself, so I really admire that about him.
