We are all walking around thinking we are lazy when really our nervous system is just trying
to keep us safe from discomfort. The wild part is procrastination makes everything
worse but we keep doing it because our brain chooses feeling good right now over feeling
good later. Every single time. And we all beat ourselves up for it like we are the
only ones struggling. But here is what actually works for us. First,
make the task so stupidly small that your brain cannot possibly see it as a threat.
