Yonge and Queen Subway Construction Update

The massive hole hidden behind the walls at Yonge and Queen is actually terrifyingly deep.

While that intersection has been a ghost town since 2023, crews have been secretly digging

twenty-four seven inside soundproof shelters. They are already down sixteen meters

to build the city's busiest subway transfer. It looks absolutely wild down there, but get comfortable

with the detour because this mess isn't reopening until at least 2028.
