You Sounded Like Home

I helped a crying stranger months ago and today he saved me without hesitation.

I was at the laundromat when I saw a guy sobbing because his phone service got cut off.

He was desperate to call his mom, so I let him use my phone. He told me he just

needed someone to sound like home. Fast forward to today, I’m having a breakdown

at the grocery store because I forgot my wallet. Suddenly, a guy steps up and

pays for my groceries. It was him. He looked at me and said, You sounded like

home that day. We aren't friends, but we both saved each other when it mattered most.
