Awkward Grocery Store Encounter

Warning: human are absolutely unhinged in their natural habitat. Picture this.

You bump into someone you vaguely recognize at the grocery store. Your brain malfunctions. You do the awkward

smile. They do it back. Now you're both trapped in this hellish loop of

pretending you might say something while aggressively avoiding eye contact. You turn down the

same aisle. Panic mode activated. You grab random items you don't need just to look

busy. A jar of pickles. Baby formula. You don't even have a baby.

They're doing the same thing. You both know what's happening. Neither of you acknowledges

it. You finally escape and see them again at checkout. Death would be easier.
