Bathroom Etiquette Dispute in Hotel Room

Am I the asshole for pooping in the actual hotel room bathroom instead of the lobby?

I’m 28F and went on a trip with my friend, let’s call her Jamie (27F).

We shared a hotel room. On day one, she tells me she thinks it’s “disgusting

and disrespectful” to go number two in the room bathroom. According to her, the “polite” thing

is to go down to the lobby every time you need to poop. I have stomach issues

and I’m also a germaphobe. Public bathrooms stress me out. I told her I’d use the fan,

flush quickly, even buy air freshener so it wouldn’t smell. But I’m not putting shoes on,

riding the elevator, and using a busy public restroom when there is a toilet three feet
