Behind the Smile

He smiled. Yeah, he smiled. But you can

see it in his eyes. A ghost behind the light,

burning quiet inside. He's the life in the room, the spark in

the dark. But when the door closes, he falls apart. Smoke in his

lungs, sleep in his veins. He's just running circles

in the back of his brain. The world don't know his name, just the face

he made. He hides in sound and shade. Yeah, he fades.
