One man gave away his land and accidentally started a revolution. Gandhi's spiritual heir,
Vinoba Bhave, was walking across India when poor villagers asked him for land.
He had no answer. Then, a local landowner, Shri Ram Chandra Reddy,
stood up and gifted 80 acres to 80 landless families on the spot. This single act,
called 'Bhoodan' or land-gift, went viral. Vinoba Bhave took the idea nationwide.
Landowners began donating land, and some even gave away entire villages. It became a massive
movement, with some donating out of generosity, others fearing new land laws.
This was India's Blood-less Revolution.
