College anxiety hit me hardest during finals week when I realized I was surviving,
not living. I'd skip meals, pull all-nighters, and convince myself that suffering equaled
success. Then my roommate found me crying in the library at 3 AM
over a paper. She said something that changed everything: what if rest was productive too?
I started small. Five minutes of morning journaling before checking my phone. One yoga video
between classes. Writing down three priorities instead of twenty. The shift wasn't
instant, but I noticed my chest felt lighter. I could breathe
deeper. Asking for help isn't admitting defeat. It's choosing yourself. We all need
