Cutting Ties Over Maternal Deception

I cut my mother out of my life because she tricked my son into believing she gave birth to him.

I left my three-year-old with her for a year to sort out personal issues. When I returned,

he looked right at her and called her Mommy. She wasn't even embarrassed.

She admitted she told him to do it because she was the mother figure now.

She screamed that I couldn't change it and called me a bad parent. I packed his stuff

and walked out. She is blowing up my phone, but she lost her grandma privileges

the second she tried to replace me.
