Extreme Landscapes of Pakistan

Pakistan has one of the most extreme landscapes on the planet packed into one single country.

We are talking about the literal roof of the world up north with the Karakoram and Himalayas.

K2 is just sitting there being massive while people survive on steep terraced fields.

Then you drop down to the Indus Plain, which is basically the engine room running on river

water, creating these massive fertile doabs. But it is not just green fields.

You have the Potwar Plateau looking like rugged badlands and the Thar desert where the sand dunes

actually shift shape with the wind. It is wild how the land literally decides if you are farming

rice or dodging sandstorms.
