Five More Minutes

This actually happened a few years ago. My grandfather accidentally left his favorite wristwatch on a

bench at a bus stop. When he realized, he went back to look for it… and found a young man

sitting there. He later learned the guy had been planning to end his life at that

spot. But when he saw the watch, he told himself he’d wait just five

more minutes in case someone came back for it. My grandpa did. They ended up talking,

building a friendship, and both of their lives changed. It made me think how unpredictable

moments can have huge meaning.
