Free, Yet Still Chained

He's free but he's chained in his mind still. He's trying to heal wounds he

don't see or feel. Walking through life like a shadow of pain.

The sun's over his head but he's stuck in his rain. Yeah,

he made mistakes but he's trying to grow. Carrying the past with his world

but he won't let it go. He's fighting every day just so he can cope.

He's holding on tight to a small thread of hope. Gate opens,

the cold wind hits his face. The world kept moving while he stayed in one

place. He walked out with a bag and a past he can't shake.
