Healthcare: A Tale of Two Systems

Europe has free healthcare and Americans are still debating it. That sentence alone

should make you question everything. I visited multiple European countries and got sick.

Walked into a clinic, got treated, walked out. Zero paperwork, zero bills,

zero stress. Meanwhile back home, people avoid ambulances because one ride costs thousands.

Europeans pay through taxes but never worry about medical bankruptcy. We pay insurance

premiums and still get crushed by bills. They treat healthcare like roads and schools, just basic infrastructure.

We treat it like a luxury purchase. The wildest part? Their system costs less per person

than ours. We're paying more to suffer more.
