Transformers are actually self-regulating beasts that fight to keep your power stable.
When you draw current from the secondary side, it actually tries to kill the magnetic
field inside the core. The primary side immediately senses this attack and
sucks in extra current just to fight back and balance the scales. It is basically
a magnetic tug-of-war happening in real-time to keep the flux constant. But physics always
takes a cut. Because of internal resistance in the copper wires, pushing that harder
current means the output voltage eventually sags. It is the price you pay for heavy
loads, proving that even in electronics, you cannot get something for nothing.
