Life With Some Sunshine

Well, I grew up in the hills of western Carolina. Some would say

in an old rundown shack with an outhouse out back. There were five

old dogs, my grandparents, and me just trying to survive.

We were so damn poor we could barely afford sunshine. That's when the

old man came up with a plan. Instead of working off the land,

he started making moonshine. Hell, I do not know how we

survived. To tell you the truth, when I think about those times,

I cry. That old man was an honest man until the day he died.
