“Did you know there used to be a ‘Sky Dimension’ in early Minecraft code? Before the Nether
and the End existed, the game actually had code for a floating world above the clouds.
Players could theoretically fly up far enough, and the game wouldn’t just stop—you’d hit a separate layer
of terrain full of strange, unfinished blocks and invisible barriers. No mobs,
no villages, just… floating remnants of a world that Mojang never finished. Most people never
saw it because you had to go ridiculously high—higher than normal build limits—but a few players stumbled
into it and called it the ‘Skylands.’ It’s like Minecraft literally hid a whole secret dimension
in the clouds, and nobody was supposed to see it.”
