Panic When the Teacher Calls You

You're sitting in class, minding your business, when suddenly the teacher calls your

name. Your heart drops. You weren't even doing anything wrong but somehow you

feel guilty. Everyone turns to look at you. Your mind goes blank. Did I forget homework?

Was I talking? Am I in trouble? The teacher just wanted to ask if you could hand out

papers. But for those five seconds, you lived through every possible scenario

of getting expelled. Your fight or flight activated over absolutely nothing. And now you're just

standing there, pretending you weren't internally panicking.
