Parents' Phone Addiction: A Role Reversal

I literally had to confiscate my parents' phones because they have turned into the

screen-addicted teenagers they used to warn me about. My dad used to mock my computer time,

but now he is doom-scrolling Facebook while my mom watches animal videos right at the dinner table.

It is wild how older people think phone addiction is just a Gen Z problem while they lose

all social skills. I finally snapped and set up a mandatory phone park during my last visit.

I physically took their devices away. They actually snitched to my sister later about how traumatizing

it was to disconnect.
