Rivyn

Rivyn was born beneath the soft echo of river bells in a stone sanctuary far from any flowing

water. His mother, the serene priestess raised him within the cloistered halls

of The Morgans—an obscure sect that worshipped an ancient entity and believed in binding divinity

to mortal flesh. To the outside eye she was gentle, calm, and full of stories;

to Rivyn, she was both warmth, mysterious, and a silent threat.Each night before the

temple’s candles were snuffed out, she told Rivyn tales of his father. She spoke of rivers

that sang against steel, of loyalty stronger than iron, and of the sword

his father wielded with honor. She never mentioned how Thrustin died—not in full.
