The Case for Legalizing Cannabis

Keeping weed illegal is just bad business. While some states are wasting billions on arresting people

for tiny amounts of pot, Colorado has raked in over $3 billion in tax revenue since

legalizing. That money funds schools, mental health, and fixes roads.

We’re also ignoring the facts. The National Academies of Sciences reviewed 10,000 studies and

confirmed weed helps with chronic pain and nausea. It’s even linked to a drop in opioid

deaths in states where it's legal. So we're passing up money, medicine,

and letting cops focus on real crime, all because of outdated stereotypes. It's just a plant.
