The Futurism Movement

If so then you may be a Futurist. Futurism is an avant-garde movement that

emerged in Italy in the early 20th century and broke away from traditional theatre

performance, embracing speed, technology, and modernity. Fillipo Tommaso Maronetti

published the futurism manifesto on the front page Gazzetta. Early Futurists included Umberto Boccioni,

Carlo Carra, Giacomo Balla, Gino Severini, and Luigi Russolo, who experimented with

visual dynamism and sound. It was not limited to painting or literature.
