Your calculator is a total fraud. It doesn't actually know math; it just knows how to flip
switches really, really fast. This is all thanks to combinational circuits,
where the output is determined only by the current input. No memory, no tricks.
Using basic logic gates, we can build a "Full Adder." This circuit takes
two binary numbers and a carry-in, and instantly outputs the sum and a new carry-out.
It’s just following a simple rulebook. By chaining these adders together, you can add massive
numbers. We then use a "decoder" circuit to translate the binary answer into the digits
you see on the screen. So, every complex calculation is just a massive, lightning-fast chain
