Understanding Broken Logic in Arguments

You can state absolute facts and still be completely wrong if your argument structure is broken.

An argument isn't just two people yelling, it’s a specific formula where premises

must force a conclusion. If you say all rich people drive Teslas, and Steve drives a Tesla,

therefore Steve is rich, you just used broken logic. Steve could be a

broke guy renting that car. That is called affirming the consequent, and it makes your

argument invalid even if the facts are real. Real logic is knowing the difference between

absolute proof and just guessing based on patterns. Stop letting people trick you with bad

structure.
