At 34, I finally found out why my whole life has felt like a struggle.
I always thought I was just lazy or a "daydreamer," like my teachers used to say.
I’d fail classes, constantly lose my keys, and could never seem to finish boring
tasks. I felt so anxious and restless, always forgetting things and struggling
to keep it together. My mind was always racing, and I couldn't sit still.
Turns out, it's not a character flaw. It's combined-type ADHD.
Getting this diagnosis feels like I can finally breathe and understand myself for the first time.
