All my life, teachers said I was just "daydreaming" and I believed I was lazy.
I was always losing my keys and glasses, couldn't stick with boring tasks, and even repeated
a year in school. I felt disorganized, restless, and constantly frustrated with myself.
At 34, I finally sought answers. During the evaluation, I couldn't sit still,
my mind was racing, and I explained how I struggled to pay attention to details.
The tests confirmed it: combined-type ADHD. It wasn't a character flaw.
It was a real, neurodevelopmental condition I've had since childhood. This diagnosis isn't
an excuse; it's an explanation.
