Vibratory Motion Demonstration

Vibratory motion is a repetitive back-and-forth movement around a central, equilibrium position.

Think of a swinging pendulum. Another common example is a guitar string.

When plucked, it vibrates, creating the sounds we hear, moving rapidly from

side to side. A tuning fork also demonstrates this. Its prongs vibrate at a specific

frequency when struck, producing a pure tone. From musical instruments to microscopic particles,

vibratory motion is fundamental in our physical world.
